Hello beautiful readers !
For this blogpost, I decided to go on a little adventure of my own, and shoot within a construction site on the Palm Jumeirah. It has always been one of my great desires to shoot in an environment like this one, and I am really happy on how the whole thing turned out.
The only disappointing thing about the shoot is that my sister and I had to constantly be on the lookout of workers or people that would tell us to leave. The construction site wasn't a public area, but a prohibited one ! Ha!
Despite this, we managed to snap some sick photographs within different parts of the site. Some parts allowed light in and some did not, and that allowed us to experiment with the lighting, camera angles as well as the different materials around.
From concrete to broken ceramic, it was really a dream ! Taking photos is fun, but finding unusual places to take them is the exciting part.
In this post I am wearing an oversized hoodie by one of my favourite brands EVER: Marques Almeida of course. The brand was founded by Portuguese designers Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida, and are known for their exquisite and creative use of denim material. Their denim designs were soon labeled as distressed denim, because of their frayed and raw hems.
I paired up the look with some Zara boots, and believe it or not, this is actually one of the looks I had on when I attended Dubai's Fashion Forward event ! I have been obsessed with it ever since.
Love this post as much as I do ? Make sure to give it a like and let me know what you think in the comments below !
